Groote Post Spring Country Market

Waking up to a wet, dull and gloomy day in Cape Town, we made our way to Darling. Just an hour’s drive from Cape Town, the Groote Post Spring Country Market is situated at Groote Post Vineyards, a historic 18th century farm surrounded by beautiful views in a country style setting.

Here, the ample terrace becomes the platform for a melting pot of delicious foods, world-class wines, and a variety of clothing, accessories, toys, arts and crafts.

All of the wines produced by Groote Post are available for tasting and purchasing; whether you’d just like to enjoy a glass or bottle at the market with friends, or take home a whole case.

As it was raining we made our way to the wine cellar for a free wine tastings to all visitors in the cool comforts of their cellar.
